I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. It is good to be back. I always have an uneasy feeling whenever I am away from my class. I missed them! Today in math we practiced adding doubles +1. For example, 6+6= 12 therefore 6+7 is the same as 6+6=12+1+13. Today's home link is 2.5. It is an addition maze. They will probably need help with this one. Once they solve all the problems. They are to connect all of the facts with sums of 9, 10, or 11. They will be able to find the ice cream by connection the math facts. Scholastic book orders are in. A couple of books were not included. If you did not receive all of the books you ordered please email me. This month's scholastic book order is now available online. Orders are due no later than October 20th. Please be sure to enter your child's name when ordering. It helps me to pass them out to the right student.
