We took our spelling pre-test today. Everyone did wonderfully. Our bonus word this week is spare. It is one of our vocabulary words from "Max found two sticks". Only two of our beans are sprouting well, maybe tomorrow more progress will be seen. We continue to discuss the different parts of plants and how they work together. Don't forget that tomorrow 2nd grade will be wearing green for spirit week. Hopefully after today the weather will break and our classroom won't be in the 90's. I am very proud of my studetns. They show an incredible ability to concentrate in tough circumstances. In all of this heat, I've only had one student absent, parents you are doing a wonderful job! Thank you for all you do!
