The beans we planted on Friday are already starting to sprout! This demonstrates in a very quick way how plants grow. Today your children took the year's first math assessment. The assessment has been graded and should be in your child's homework folder. I am also sending home the newest parent letter for our next section of Math. Keep it handy because it has all the math home link answers on it. Tonight please read from their language arts book. This week is Survivor spirit week here at Maddux. Beginning Wednesday September 26th and ending Thursday October 4th. Wednesday our class should wear green if possible. On Thursday students will get to guess how many fake spiders are in a jar and on Friday, students will get to "guess the teacher" using clues that have been given all week. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, from what your children told me today you did!
