What a fun day! We began discussing globes today. We discussed our atmosphere, the moon's role in ocean tides and lighting up the night sky, where we are in relation to the rest of the world and played with Google Earth. On Friday, we will experiment with globes and mirrors to see how the moon gives us light. We also extended our learning in math to by playing "What's my rule?". The students had to take the clues given to figure out what rule is being applied. We continue working on words with short "U" and contractions in language arts.
